The soy complex along with the products broke a bit today. The market is hesitant to be aggressive inter day with sales. This is due to the month and the net short position.  The fundamental picture remains bearish with plenty of supply. Without a weather problem this will catch up with the price. We are currently priced high from a …

In my opinion GOLD- Short term sell level just hit late 1262.40.  This is live now, reversed down.  I like less than $2 stop risk.  This mkt could turn lower here for a trade.  1265-65.50 above, then over 1268.30 new buying should emerge technically.  Public always seems to buy rallies. CRUDE OIL- see chart last week but resist above 51.42, …

There is not much new today. The Sales are continuing to run at a healthy clip. Will south America cut the US out soon. This is more currency related. The reality is the domestic and global supplies are large. record large if planting goes well. the price level should prove difficult to maintain. The meal market probably has the most risk …

The soy Complex today was fairly subdued. There is  a lot to consider this time of year. So volatility will be present. The weather is causing concerns. This will give the market rallies. These present opportunities in my opinion. Any prices near ten dollars, given the global supply,  should be considered hedging opportunities. The oil share has stabilized at approx. …

Good Afternoon. The soy complex had a back and forth day.  When the bell rang the beans and oil were plus while the meal market sold off its high. The most important aspect to todays session was the oil share closed above 34%. A recent high and a signal that perhaps we will see some follow through. The soy complex …

The response to the usda report (wasde) was a bit lackluster. The numbers do however hold some significant opportunities potentially, in my opinion. The soybeans per the usda estimates for the 17/18 crop year show 88.6 mil acres with a 48 yield. The acres are fine. However the yield may prove to be understated. The range given last years production …
