Here is the  Daily/ Weekly Volume for cash trades for the Cattle Market:

TX-10,329/16,022 head. Bulk for the week $124-$125 .

KS-20,718/21,104 head. Bulk for the week $125.

NE-21,801/34,788 head. Bulk for the week $124-$126. Dressed sales are 4.00 higher from last week, trading at $200.

CO-4,560/8,554 head. Between $124-$126.

IA/MN-7,899/8,311 head. For the week a few sales at $125, and some dressed sales at $200.

 

On the Futures side of trading, we saw Live Cattle breakdown from Wednesday’s reversal candle. It traded down to support at the 8 (116.20)and 50 (116.25) day moving averages and ended the day just below moving average support at 116.025. The next area of support comes in at  the 13 (115.125) day moving average.  Resistance is at 117.825.

April Feeder Cattle broke down on Thursday after failing to surpass resistance at 125.30 on Tuesday and Wednesday. It is now at the lower end of its consolidation range as it traded down to 121.80 and is nearing support at 120.30.

Lean Hogs traded up to resistance at the 21 (69.675) day moving average, reaching 69.625 before failing and ending the day near its low (68.10) at 68.375. Support for the Hogs comes in at 67.90 and resistance is at the 21 DMA and then 70.00.
