5 Minutes on the Markets – 10/09/25

Jeff FosseGeneral Commentary

I post these videos every trading day, shortly after 8 AM CT. Check back here tomorrow for another update! Better yet, join my YouTube LIve Stream every morning at 7:45 AM CT!

**I’m changing the way I do these videos! They’ll still be posted here on WalshTrading.com, but from now on, they’ll also be Live Streamed through YouTube at 7:45 AM CT. Those of you that have subscribed for notifications will have to do that again, as I’ve created a new YouTube channel strictly for my Walsh Trading videos. Subscribe (it’s free!) share and please support this any way you can! I’ll also be doing longer videos like this on Wednesday afternoons, covering all of the markets that I watch. Those will be Live Streamed, as well, so feel free to join and ask questions, when you have them! You can find my new YouTube page here https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYA_HaSRcDUNfwfBGTs5rQw (copy/paste if link doesn’t work) You can also search YouTube for my channel @JeffersonFosseWalshTrading Thank you for the support! Feeder Cattle vaulted to new contract highs on Wednesday, gaining 4.575 in the November contract. Live Cattle futures also posted strong gains, but have yet to set new highs. Lean Hogs closed lower, just below the 50-day moving average. Corn and Soybeans posted decent gains yesterday, but closed just shy of long-term moving average resistance. Seasonally, they both tend to trend higher until expiration, but are lower this morning. Soymeal and Bean Oil also tend to trend higher, with Soymeal typically the strongest. Dec Soymeal 300.00 Call options may be a good choice for those that like inexpensive speculation. Wheat remains in a downtrend, perhaps holding back gains in Corn and Soy.

My charts indicate new trade signals in Treasury Bond and 10-Year Note futures this morning.
