Livestock markets were mixed on Thursday. Both Live and Feeder Cattle closed a bit lower, but trade volume has been weakening. Perhaps the uptrend is temporarily running out of strength. Lean hogs were higher, gaining 1.900 yesterday. I still like Hogs from the long side. Grains are all sharply higher this morning. Partly short covering and partly on weather forecasts for hotter temps into the next week or so. My Corn and Soybean charts kicked out new trade signals today. Bean Oil is still leading the way, as it’s testing 2 year highs and acting strong. Lots of “green” on my screen this morning, Coffee, Bitcoin and the US Dollar are the only markets trading lower so far today.
