Cattle markets saw a little bout of profit taking on Friday, but rebounded strongly to set new contract highs and new contract high closes in both Live Cattle and Feeder Cattle futures. I would expect further price gains in those two markets. Lean Hogs traded a bit lower on Friday, but seemed to lose some of the bearish momentum. 2 consecutive close below the 50-day moving average may not be friendly for prices. Grain markets finished last week with a thud, closing on the lows of the week in Corn, Beans and Wheat. Concerns about US/China trade negotiations have these and a few other markets on the defensive. Gold and Silver are zooming higher again today, with Gold setting new contract highs and Silver not far behind. Stock Indexes are trading firmer, at the moment, after bearish closes on Friday. The major indices are testing 50-day moving average support.
My charts indicate new trade signals in Corn, Soymeal, Sugar, 30-Year Treasury Bonds, 10-Year Treasury Notes, E-Mini S&P 500, E-Mini Nasdaq, Dow Jones, Russell 2000 futures this morning.
