5 Minutes on the Markets – 10/02/25

Jeff FosseGeneral Commentary

I post these videos every trading day, shortly after 8 AM CT. Check back here tomorrow for another update!

**I’m changing the way I do these videos! They’ll still be posted here on WalshTrading.com, but from now on, they’ll also be Live Streamed through YouTube. Those of you that have subscribed for notifications will have to do that again, as I’ve created a new YouTube channel strictly for my Walsh Trading videos. Subscribe (it’s free!) share and please support this any way you can! I’ll also be doing longer videos like this on Wednesday afternoons, covering all of the markets that I watch. Those will be Live Streamed, as well, so feel free to join and ask questions, when you have them! You can find my new YouTube page here https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYA_HaSRcDUNfwfBGTs5rQw (copy/paste if link doesn’t work) JF**

Live Cattle and Feeder Cattle prices faded on Wednesday, with the November Feeders seeming to fail at trendline resistance. My Live Cattle charts are on the “Sell” side right now, and Feeders are thisclose to flipping to the “Sell” side, as well. Technically, these markets seem to be weakening. Fundamentally, I’m of the opinion that we have less cattle and more people to feed. Lean Hogs dropped also yesterday, seeming to cast about for support. Grains made a decent bullish recovery yesterday, With Corn, Wheat and Soybeans all closing in the green and well off their lows on Wednesday. Soybeans may have posted the more “bullish” day with yesterday’s trade making a large Bullish Engulfment on the charts.

My charts indicate new trade signals in Soybean Oil, E-Mini S&P. E-Mini NASDAQ, Dow, Crude Oil, RBOB (Unleaded Gas) and Heating Oil (Diesel) futures this morning.
