5 Minutes on the Markets – 07/07/25

Cattle futures closed mildly higher on Thursday. Lean Hogs closed weaker, as they still cast about for support. Grains were higher last week, but favorable weather forecasts sparked an aggressive selling wave last night. Corn, Soybeans, Soymeal and Wheat have all left overhead gaps on the charts, with Corn Beans and Wheat down double digits. Lots of red on my screen this morning, with only the US Dollar and Crude Oil complex posting gains, as of this writing. Crude Oil, Unleaded Gas and Diesel charts have flipped bullish on my charts this morning. A flash sale of 135K MT of Corn was announced to Mexico this morning.
