5 Minutes on the Markets – 06/11/25

Feeder Cattle and Lean Hogs continue to post new contract highs. Live Cattle backed off a little yesterday, but Boxed Beef prices jumped aggressively on Tuesday afternoon, which should add more bullish fuel to the fire. Both Feeders and Fats are bumping right into overhead trendline that may offer resistance. Grains are firmer this morning. Some strength based on weather forecasts, some based on positioning ahead of tomorrow’s WASDE report. CPI data released this morning shows inflation at 0.1% month-to-month and 2.4% year-to-year, both readings better than expected by 0.1%.
