SOYBEANS–
Soybeans made a nice recovery over 1300 today in the November contract after showing weakness on Friday. The September crop report was bearish based on the market reaction and the pre-report estimates, however ending stocks were reduced 10 mb and stocks/use is now under 7%. The China-US summit is 10 days away.
November’26 Soybeans (ZSX26) settled at 1304.25 (+8.50), high of 1309.75, low of 1292. January ‘27 Soybeans (ZSF27) settled at 1320.75 (+8.75), high of 1325.25, low of 1307.25. Cash price is at 1372 (+65)

Friday’s report was pretty much in line with expectations, with yield being cut to 178.5 bpa, although that was slightly above the average pre-report estimate. Corn should continue to be supported by a tighter balance sheet. A grain deal/ceasefire in the Black Sea could however drag wheat down and bring corn with it.
