Ag Commentary

Quiet day . The market is awaiting the the weather in south America next week. Here is my focus at present. Is oil share bottoming. The beans are plentiful. The crush pace at present is a record for November. The availability of beans is there. Meal has plenty of competition and will if we rally. The oil stocks are tighter than normal. The feeling although not confirmed today is that the yield in oil is coming down. This will further tighten the oil scenario. The palm oil may have marked a recent low. For various reasons. All this may equate to a gain in oil share. a healthy crop will only heighten this as meal will also drag beans a bit lower. looking at bean stocks globally. Very healthy. A record, and understated if the weather plays out in South America.  This could prove to be a exciting new year. Any further rallies in beans should be viewed, in my opinion as a hedging opportunity. Merry Christmas
