Ag Commentary

John WalshGeneral Commentary

The soy complex is awaiting next Tuesdays numbers. The job of making predictions is mute till we see the numbers. Some thoughts. The Brazilian crop will go up as more acres will be planted. The Argentinian may favor feedgrains. The USDA has no reason to alter the projections month to month. No guarantees in life however. The issue going forward for the domestic market will be demand. the southern hemisphere will offer stiff competition.

Outside influences are the dollar weakness. that has been a bit supportive prices of late. Where do we go. The euro dollar spread now may be wide. The administration may need some wins to bring a bid back to the greenback. Enjoy the weekend and lets prepare for the Tuesday report. this report could offer some long term opportunities.
