5 Minutes on the Markets – 04/22/2025

Live Cattle closed slightly lower but well off of the highs with Feeders making a more substantial decline. Hog posted a higher high and low to start the week, maintaining upward momentum. Grains were lower on Monday and the Crop Progress report from yesterday afternoon is weighing on Corn this morning. Soy complex is firmer today, but Monday’s close seems bearish for Beans and Meal. Wheat lower, winter crop ratings declined.
