I post these videos every trading day, shortly after 8 AM CT. Check back here tomorrow for another update!
Cattle futures launched higher on Friday, following the press conference from the Ag Secretary and the Gov of TX. The gist of the story is that the US is going to spend a bunch of money on Screwworm mitigation facilities, with no timeline to reopen the border with Mexico. Cattle on Feed and Cold Storage data due out this Friday, after the close. Soybeans and Soymeal were the only markets to hold significant gains last week. This morning all of my Grain quotes are in the red, indicting a lower start to the week. Crop tours begin this week, so expect some yield estimates to move the markets, potentially. Weather for the coming week appears hot, perhaps steamy, in some spots. Corn posted a neutral bar on the weekly chart, setting up a potential rally, in the face of a huge crop.
My charts indicate a new trade signal in Cocoa today.
