I post these videos every trading day, shortly after 8 AM CT. Check back here tomorrow for another update!
Livestock markets all closed lower on Tuesday. Live and Feeder Cattle had a bearish reaction to news that the USDA intends to phase in a border re-opening with Mexico. While certainly a short-term bearish influence, I’m not sure this will actually do much in rebuilding the cattle herd. Live Cattle and Feeder Cattle remain just above moving average and trendline support. Lean Hogs continued to retrace lower, look for support near the 105.00 mark. Corn remains weak, based on US weather forecasts. Soybeans and Bean Oil got a bullish boost from yesterdays Crush report and Bean Oil stock reports. Both indicate strong demand for Soybeans and Bean Oil, which should be bullish for those two markets and bearish for Soymeal.
