5 Minutes on the Markets – 06/04/25

Livestock futures closed lower on Tuesday. Live Cattle seem the heaviest to me and may be ready for a sell off. The trend is up in Cattle, Feeders and Lean Hogs, and I don’t have any active “sell” signals in these markets right now. Hogs filled the price gap on the chart and got hit with a little profit taking, buy dips there may prove helpful. Grains and Soybeans all higher overnight. Some places have gotten some excessive rainfall in the past several days which may delay Wheat harvest somewhat. Old Crop/New Crop spreads have been on the bullish side in Soybeans, not so much in Corn.
