The NWS 6 to 10 looks very normal temperature wise and slightly wetter than normal yet the further out forecasts are shifting to cooler than normal. This might give the market a cause for pause.

Crop tours are likely to be reporting into headquarters the next few days and early indications are that the crop is immature and would benefit from an extended growing season. The September crop report and spreads ahead of September deliveries might be the focus of the trade for the next ten days.We’re not running out of anything and harvest is happening. September contracts could slip a little more.

Crop ratings slipped over night which is typical at this point in the growing season. Hurry up and wait!
